Book Signing with John Charles Griffin

Author and poet John Charles Griffin spent his early years on a South Georgia farm near Hahira, Georgia, where inspiration for his most recent book, "Dirt Road Visionary" was strongly influenced by rural surroundings, homegrown gardens and Southern colloqualism.

The contents of "Dirt Road Visionary" include compelling themes including three sections "Junkyards and Green Stamps," "Alligators, Women and Guilt Trips," and "Glass House, Groceries and Greyhounds." The added visuals of his photography include a mix of rusted out cars in rural setings, Macon homeless people, covered bridges and vintage gas pumps in ghost towns with words that colorfully describe picturesque visuals in black and white settings.

Join us for Griffin's reading and signing of his poetry book, "Dirt Road Visionary."
